· A VOICE FOR THE PARENT WHO LIVES ALONE ·

We are made of the people who raised us.

Always there to listen, remember, act, and catch you before you fall. A village around your parent.

· WHAT MAYA DOES ·

One companion, three hands.

Maya talks. Maya does the doing. Maya watches the small numbers over time. So your parent isn’t alone, and you aren’t on call.

· social · every call ·

Companion.

A warm, friendly, interesting conversation partner. Maya remembers yesterday's appointment, last week's garden project, the grandkids' names. Not a script. A friend who happens to have perfect memory.

the call, the cat, the daughter

· concierge · on demand ·

Concierge.

An agent that does things in the world. Orders the groceries. Calls the salon. Refills the prescription. Texts the daughter. The elder directs, Maya executes, and reports back.

the groceries, the salon, the doing

· wellness · long-term ·

Wellness partner.

Quietly tracks patterns over weeks: speech, mood, sleep, mobility. Surfaces what matters, stays silent when nothing does. Compares to your parent's own baseline, never to anyone else.

the hip, the meds, the doctor

· ETHICAL STANCE ·

Maya is your parent’s ally. Always.

The elder is the person being served, not monitored. The caregiver is whoever cares about them: a daughter, a son, a friend. The elder’s dignity and autonomy come first.

  • The elder directs Maya. Maya doesn't act without their involvement, except in safety emergencies.
  • The elder can stop any call, opt out any time. Their word overrides everyone's.
  • Wellness signals are a byproduct of genuine care, not surveillance.
  • What the elder shares in private stays private, unless it's a safety concern.
  • The caregiver gets trends and alerts. Not a transcript of every word.
  • Your data is yours. Never sold to insurers, employers, or advertisers.
